Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 1960) is an American actor. Her name has been praised for her film and TV performances since the early 1980s. Her awards include two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was brought up in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth at New York New York, is a well-known actor. Bassett relocated with her twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at five years old to be near their mother, who was separated from her father. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still in highschool and realized that she was an actor and would like to be doing. Yale University New Haven Connecticut in which she graduated with her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). At Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. BA. (Afro-American study) in 1980. A Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main roles as Ramonda in the action movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
