Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr's first appearance was in 1990 when she joined her brothers Caroline Sharon, Jim and Jim as the singers of The Corrs. Andrea Corr, an Irish singer, musician and songwriter is a member of the Corrs. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was conferred upon Andrea Corr, and she's also known as the member of the Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock band The Corrs. She is the lead singer in the band, and is a musician on several instruments. Andrea was born in 1991 and began her career as an acting in 1991, then grew into a musical talent and stage artist. She performed as a playback singer for the 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea has a total of six studio albums to her credit, as well as two compilations albums, four live albums and one mix album. Andrea has received awards by her charity work as well. Andrea's husband, a stockbroker, and two children belong to her. Andrea began her music lessons through learning how to play the Tin whistle. Gerry taught her to play piano. Andrea plays the Ukulele. The teenage years were spent learning to play the instrument. She started by singing with her siblings, and then became the singer-in-chief of the band. Andrea took part in numerous plays in Dun Lughaidh Convent.
